How do I arrange a landing at Mungalalu North Kimberley Airport?
Contact our team with your aircraft type, dates and requirements and we'll confirm availability, landing fees and any handling or refuelling you need. MNKA is a Code 3C CASA certified airport with an 1,800m sealed runway and large jet aircraft capabilities, operating all-weather, year-round.
Can I book accommodation at the airport?
Yes. MNKA has 127 modern en-suite, cyclone-rated rooms with dining, pool, gym and lounges, and Wi-Fi access throughout camp, built for crews transiting to and from offshore operations. Contact us with your dates and group size and we'll confirm availability and rates.
What fuel is available?
Jet A1 is dispensed airside via refuelling trucks from a 180,000-litre facility, with Avgas supplied as required. Contact us for current pricing and availability before you fly.
How do I get a freight or fuel logistics quote from Norwest Marine?
Call 0400 810 870 or email info@norwestmarine.com.au with your cargo, origin and destination. We provide marine freight, logistics and charter services across northern Australia: the Kimberley, Top End and Gulf of Carpentaria.
What is Troughton Island used for?
Troughton Island is a CASA certified Code 2 island aerodrome operated by MNKA: a 980m unsealed runway on a natural reef, approx. 45km north-west of the airport, with hangar and apron facilities and modern amenities.

Administration is at 1202 Hay St, West Perth WA 6005. Operations run from the airport (North Kimberley), Darwin (Norwest Marine) and Troughton Island.
